SR Sig. Nile Crocodile
Red Suede // Baby Blue Suede
Zack came in with a design concept that always excites us- designing a piece based off an object completely unrelated to leather accessories, in this case, his Canon camera. As a professional photographer who travels constantly, Zack commissioned not only a Bespoke Mini but a Backpack Full as well. For his Mini, we went with a black cowhide base, black python double stripe and brought in the aspects of his camera with small Red and Baby Blue accents. His double stripes were hand painted with thin blue lines to emphasize the contrast in materials without adding more color than is true of his camera. We paired that with red zipper trim and a red Nile Croc KeyCharm, again utilizing only a small hint of color allowing for the bag to be worn daily but clearly bare resemblance to his actual camera.
Zack's backpack utilized the same aesthetic, building the body from Black Cowhide with double front pockets, detachable SR Signature Nile Crocodile Straps and a Red/Baby Blue Color blocked suede interior. In addition, we added a spandex strap across the back panel, allowing for the bag to be stacked on a rolling suitcase for ease of travel, an SR first.
Overall we had a great time working with Zack, he's an incredible photographer and is responsible for some of SR's best imagery throughout his tours alongside the Why Don't We crew. Check out some of his work on his Instagram.
