INSPIRATION/STORY:
Artist & Creative Laney Degrasse has been a longtime friend and after showing work of ours alongside hers at a gallery event Brooklyn, we began discussing ways to incorporate her work into one of our pieces. We wanted to showcase her art in the most tangible way possible- allowing for her art to be worn and displayed wherever she goes. This concept led to Laney painting a piece of canvas we provided in her signature style, returning it to us to chop and use as the piece's front stripe, gusset and strap. Lastly we chopped up a shirt that was sublimated with Laney's art to serve as the interior. One of our most unique pieces to date.
